Tradition has it that this suite was a small inn across the street at the time of Rochambeau's march through Southbury. This room is a large bedchamber (30 feet by 30 feet) in the grand manner featuring a king sized pencil post bed, fireplace, TV (digital cable), VCR, CD player/Clock radio, spacious seating area with two plush chairs and ottoman, and private deck with a view of the pool and beautiful grounds.   For your comfort,  there is air conditioning and a ceiling fan.  The modern en-suite bathroom has a large whirlpool tub with shower;  bathrobes are provided.
